Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Training

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) is providing a 3-day training that will give a comprehensive view of the PCMH program, starting with the fundamentals, and will visit each standard, concept, competency and criterion. This training includes both courses required to become a PCMH certified content expert (CCE). PCMHs improve quality and the patient experience, and increase staff satisfaction—while reducing health care costs.
  
During the training, NCQA will discuss:

• The importance of PCMH and the associated benefits
• The process of becoming PCMH certified and the process for annual reporting
• PCMH standards and each criterion
• The process of becoming a CCE

  
This training will satisfy 7.75 hours for medical and nursing CME, & offers 8 CEUs for those that are already certified content experts (CCE).
