|This week, TPCA is joining health centers in Tennessee and across the country to celebrate the mission and accomplishments of community health centers! Read on to learn more about how health centers and their communities are recognizing National Health Center Week 2022.|
|National Health Center Week (NHCW) is an annual celebration to recognize the accomplishments of community health centers and celebrate their enduring mission. During National Health Center Week, from August 7-13, we are honoring the contributions of health centers to improving the health and well-being of their patients and communities across the country.

|For the weeks leading up to National Health Center Week, health centers in Tennessee and across the country have been hosting creative events including events to unveil new mobile units and back to school events that offer physicals, immunizations, games, food, and giveaways. During National Health Center Week (NHCW), health centers are continuing to host staff and patient appreciation events, community health fairs, and back-to-school events. This week is a great time to get to know your local health center by attending a community event.

|Health Center Celebrations|
|The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) is organizing several fun ways for health centers and their staff to engage in National Health Center Week celebrations! NACHC is holding the first ever National Health Center Week TikTok challenge. The TikTok challenge will help health centers tell their story in a unique way that incorporates the NHCW theme of “Community Health Center: The Chemistry for Strong Communities.” Health centers can also participate in NHCW bingo! NACHC created bingo cards that health center staff can complete and turn them in to be entered for a prize.|
