TPCA Welcomes New Staff Members, Names New Finance Director
TPCA has welcomed two new staff members: Mckenzie Houston, project coordinator, and Joshua Scales, health information technology manager. In addition, Liz Affleck, previously TPCA’s staff accountant, has been named finance director.
Houston joined TPCA from Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she served as a research coordinator. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Georgia Southern University, and a master of public health degree from Walden University.
Scales has several years of experience in healthcare operations, most recently serving as director of telehealth access and engagement for LifePoint Health. Scales earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and a graduate certificate in healthcare administration and planning from Tennessee State University. He holds a number of professional certifications, including NCP Certification (NextGen Certified Professional EPM and EHR) and Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt in Healthcare Certification.
Affleck, who previously served as TPCA’s staff accountant, has been with TPCA since 2017.
