Chief Operating Officer

Chota Community Health Services (CCHS) is seeking an experienced professional to build and manage the structures of the day-to-day activities of a fast-paced health center as well as partner with senior leadership, clinical partners, and key community stakeholders. The COO must be hands-on, lead by example, and motivate the staff to deliver measurable, accountable, cost-effective results that further the mission of CCHS.

  • Should be a self-motivated leader, position includes providing instruction and supervision of multiple departments. This includes monitoring compliance of policies and procedures and productivity of assigned personnel.
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently, position includes preparing reports and correspondence required to conduct the business of CCHS.
  • Ability to multi-task and detail oriented, position includes assisting in the development of policies, procedures, and required forms.
  • Promotes a team-based approach to delivering high quality, cost-efficient care where patient satisfaction and improved health outcomes are the primary goals.
  • Demonstrates high level of business acumen, position includes participation in the development and of short-term and long-term strategic plans based upon broad goals and objectives.
  • Should be a servant leader, position includes attending community and/or staff meetings, as assigned or requested, and informs the CEO of the proceedings at the meetings attended and recommends action as necessary.

B .S in Health Care Administration or Business Administration, Masters preferred and 2 years supervisory experience.
