Audience: Clinical Staff, Quality Improvement, EMP Personnel, Front Desk, Schedulers, and Referral Management, Care Coordinators, Oral Health
Description
A trauma-informed organization is one in which the individual and the organization recognize trauma, and determines complementary work practices that support health systems, staff, and resilience practices. As trauma occurs, the existing protective factors are often challenged.
In order to implement trauma-informed care in health organizations, it is important to understand and discuss in detail secondary trauma treatment practices. Participants will identify action items and strategies to implement immediately, as well as a list of strategies to stop and start.
