Join us for a training experience that combines healthcare and law enforcement approaches to the threat of workplace violence. With reports of heightened tensions in health centers due to the current environment, TPCA offers this session as a support in ensuring CHC staff and patients remain safe. The goal is to create a culture of safety in the healthcare environment - security is everyone's responsibility.

Part 1: Morning Session - In-Person and Virtual
The morning portion of the session will provide health center staff with a solid foundation to address violence within the healthcare setting.

Part 2: Afternoon Session - In-Person Only
In-person attendees will have the ability to observe and participate in reality-based scenarios to learn how to keep themselves, and fellow co-workers, safe during a confrontation.
  • Learn proven methods, practices, and procedures in various settings to lockout/barricade/get-out/and fight if necessary to prevail.
  •
  • See how easy it can be using everyday objects in your office setting to secure/protect yourself during an emergency situation.
  •
  • Understand what your body and mind go through under duress, and feel empowered to overcome the stresses involved in a violent encounter.
  •
  • Leave knowing how to keep yourself and others safe anywhere!

Reactions to C.A.R.E. Training:

I was blown away by the in-person safety presentation. The leadership team went above and beyond regarding meeting the employees’ needs and concerns with safety in the workplace.
___________

The presentation was excellent! Instead of just lecturing, showing techniques to handle escalating situations was great.
___________

Can’t wait to share this valuable information! The afternoon scenarios really cemented the information presented.
