Session Description
Succession planning is a strategy for identifying and developing future leaders at your company — not just at the top but for major roles at all levels. It helps your business prepare for all contingencies by preparing high-potential workers for advancement. In the absence of a leadership succession plan, health care organizations can face staffing shortages, lost revenue and a decrease in customer and employee satisfaction.
Session Objectives
- Each health center will identify successors for key positions and each identified successor may have an individualized development plan in accordance with the grooming needs of the person
- Each health center will create a policy of succession in their policies
About the Speaker
Dr. Deb Macfarlan Enright founder of The Macfarlan Group, holds an undergraduate degree from Vassar College and two advanced degrees from Vanderbilt University, including a Doctorate in Education Policy from the nationally ranked Leadership, Policy & Organization Department program.
