Any clinician or CHC staff that receives Ending the HIV Epidemic or Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program funding and/or is involved in HIV/AIDS care including medical care, case management, and support services, or those working in a clinic that offers pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP).
Session Description
Tennessee Primary Care Association’s PrEP Community of Practice Learning Series aims to build relationships amongst CHC clinicians and staff as well as educate them on statewide resources, evidence – based practices and other emerging topics through highly specialized training sessions and networking opportunities. The PrEP Community of Practice is designed to support health centers in enhancing their PrEP strategies, including discussion on communication and education, Insurance Coverage, and PrEP navigation.
Session Objectives
• Develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes for developing and providing a population-based approach to HIV prevention and PrEP
• Contribute to the learning among participants by engaging in workgroup conversations
• Have increased confidence in being able to apply developed strategies to help change their care models
