TPCA has partnered with Vizient to deliver Lean training. This three-day program conducted remotely via Zoom Meeting gives participants a hands-on, learn-by-doing experience applying Lean healthcare methodologies and tools in a primary care environment. As participants will be at their health center locations, homework will be assigned at the end of each day which will then be debriefed the following morning.
Presenter: Richard Tucker, Sr. Consulting Director, Vizient, Inc.

Remote Coaching: In addition to the training sessions, 2 one-hour remote coaching sessions per health center location will be offered to the participants to provide assistance with their current initiatives and highlight health center Lean successes.
Participation: Each health center must have at least 2 participants attend due to the team-based nature of the training. Each session can have up to 5 health centers and a maximum of 20 people. We encourage participating health centers to have several team members from different departments attend the training as Lean methodology can be applied to many aspects of the healthcare setting.
