The Health Resources and Services Administration has developed a curriculum, Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias
, to train the primary care workforce about dementia and promote interprofessional teamwork in the care of persons living with dementia (PLwD). The curriculum contains 16 core modules - each with a PowerPoint presentation including detailed notes and a reference list - to assist in teaching, and other presentations. The curriculum also includes supplemental modules to help providers and caregivers address challenges of the caregiving role.

TPCA has welcomed two new staff members: Mckenzie Houston, project coordinator, and Joshua Scales, health information technology manager. In addition, Liz Affleck, previously TPCA’s staff accountant, has been named finance director.
