Neighborhood Health and Envolve Vision teamed with the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved to bring the Vision Van to Nashville. The Envolve Vision Van brings eye care and information to underserved communities nationwide.

Envolve Vision offers free screenings, distribution of free reading glasses, and more.

“We are so pleased that we can offer this service to children and adults in our community without cost to them,” said Mary Bufwack, CEO of Neighborhood Health. “Vision care often goes neglected. It’s estimated that one in every four children has a vision disorder and even more adults. But 80% do not get an annual eye exam.”

The “SeeMore” vision van made stops at three of Neighborhood Health’s Nashville clinics in early June.
