Telehealth

The Tennessee Telehealth Network (TTN), a program of the Tennessee Primary Care Association, is the oldest, statewide, continuously operational telehealth network in Tennessee.

TTN’s facility- and subscription-based telehealth service has increased the effectiveness and efficiencies of operational, training and clinical efforts of its healthcare provider participants through the employment of telehealth technology. Annually, thousands of clinical encounters provide patients and their physicians with interactive audio and video access to a service line that includes physicians in seven specialties, trained medical language interpreters, nutritionists and behavioral healthcare practitioners.

TTN connects originating end points (patient sites) to distant end points (provider sites) from across every corner of the state. Specialty physicians, nutritionists, language services interpreters and behavioral health providers are accessed from in-state medical academic institutions, and in-state contract service providers. TTN’s specialty care service line includes:

  • Psychology
  • Psychiatry
  • Dermatology
  • Endocrinology
  • Gastroenterology
  • Neurology
