Kathy works with the Board of Directors, provides leadership and vision for the Association. She is charged with the overall management of the Association’s programs and budget. Kathy is also responsible for the Association’s public affairs, health policy initiatives, grants and contracts, and human resources.
Sharon is responsible for providing leadership for TPCA’s programs, administering its day-to-day operations and supporting the CEO in the execution of the Association's strategic plan. She provides program oversight, resource development, member services, staff administration and operations management.
Karen is responsible for financial management and oversight of TPCA’s human resources program. She oversees business policies and accounting practices. She supports the CEO in decision-making by providing relevant reports, fiscal analysis, and business planning. Karen also keeps the CEO informed of the financial and budget status of the Association. Karen advises the CEO on risk management, business planning, assessing the cost effectiveness of Association programs and other recommendations.
Mara is responsible for leading the Tennessee Primary Care Association’s technical assistance efforts to implement meaningful use of health information technology in Community Health Centers. She works to ensure that TPCA health IT programs and projects are implemented in an effective manner; data collection, analysis and communication; developing and maintaining relationships with partners; providing on-site technical assistance to health centers; and, planning and implementing training and professional development opportunities for health center staff.
Raymond is responsible for leading the Association’s membership, training and workforce initiatives. He is responsible for the coordination of organizational and associate membership recruitment efforts for TPCA and works closely with the Association’s partners to link Community Health Centers to resources for recruitment, development and retention of key clinical and administrative staff. Raymond also leads TPCA’s workforce development initiatives, which provide technical assistance to centers as well as clinical rotation opportunities for health professions students and residents looking to gain exposure to Community Health Centers.
Terri is responsible for leading the Association’s clinical quality improvement efforts aimed at improving access to high quality primary health care for underserved Tennesseans. Terri works to ensure that TPCA clinical programs and projects are implemented in an effective manner, through data collection, analysis and communication; developing and maintaining relationships with partners; providing on-site technical assistance to health centers; and, planning and implementing training and professional development opportunities for health center clinicians.
Terry is responsible for providing overall leadership for the TPCA telehealth program and serving as the primary contact for the program. He facilitates regular meetings to ensure telehealth staff understand and follow policies and procedures, and creates staff work plans. Terry also directs and plans day-to-day work related to the telehealth program.
Libby is responsible for leading the Association’s health care policy program and works in partnership with the CEO in the execution of TPCA’s strategic plan. She leads TPCA’s public affairs, its Community Health Center development efforts, and its technical assistance to Community Health Centers on matters of state or federal policy, and partnership development. Libby also educates the Association’s members about both federal and state policy issues that impact their organizations. She educates government officials and community leaders about the need for primary health care targeted to low-income Tennesseans.
Sara is responsible for planning the Association's continuing education events and trainings. She works closely with staff and members to ensure educational needs are met with the appropriate content, delivery method and accessibility.
Larry provides day-to-day administration of the telehealth system, including the scheduling of the various clinics' usage of the telehealth network. He also keeps in contact with the clinics, providing technical and program support as needed. Larry also is involved in the promotion of the program, and helps to set up new clients with proper equipment and protocols.
Terri promotes and raises awareness of the Association and health centers through the media and other outlets. She develops the Association’s newsletters, web site content, press releases, publications and other communications.
Bethany is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the TPCA office by integrating information technology into TPCA programs and processes, managing the Association’s information technology infrastructure, assisting the finance director and coordinating compliance with related TPCA policies and procedures. She is responsible for day-to-day problem-solving on IT issues.
Tammy splits her time between supporting TPCA’s Workforce Program and supporting TPCA day-to-day operations. She manages the TPCA building, serving as the coordinating point of contact for the use and maintenance of TPCA’s facilities and equipment. She assists the member services director with all workforce-related programs and attends webinars, conference calls, and provides support and assistance.
Rhonda provides professional administrative support to the chief executive officer. She works in and coordinates all aspects of the CEO office, including working with the board of directors and committees; composing, editing and disseminating senior-level correspondence; preparing material for meetings and recording meeting minutes; managing CEO communications; and exercising sound, independent judgment in responding to requests and solving problems in a tactful and courteous manner.
